The annual Young Stars Prospect Tournament kicks off today in Penticton, British Columbia. This year’s participants are the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, and the Winnipeg Jets.

Lucky for Sharks fans, the first game features the Sharks prospects facing off against the Calgary Flames prospects. Some might joke that even luckier than the Sharks getting the first game is that they are playing it against the Calgary Flames prospects, but I won’t go there. The Flames prospect pool should be on the rise with Jay Feaster in charge.

Inarguably, though, what is luckiest of all is that those of us who don’t live in Penticton still have a way to watch the game. That’s right, all the Young Stars Tournament games will be streamed at The Canucks Official Website. So if you are interested in scouting the prospects, be sure to check that out. It starts at 4:00PM Pacific Time.
